For many years, the drinking water standard for arsenic was 50 parts per billion (ppb). The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) tightened the standard from 50 ppb to 10 ppb in January 2001 for federally regulated (Group A) community and nontransient noncommunity (NTNC) water systems. EPA changed the arsenic standard to reduce people's long-term exposure to arsenic in drinking water, which has been linked to chronic health issues.
Arsenic is an element that occurs naturally in rocks and soil and is used for a variety of purposes within industry and agriculture. It is also a byproduct of copper smelting, mining, and coal burning. Arsenic can combine with other elements to make chemicals used to preserve wood and to kill insects on cotton and other agricultural crops. In the past, it was used in commercial wood preservatives and agricultural chemicals.

Arsenic in drinking water can cause cancer in the skin, lungs, bladder and kidney. It can also cause other skin changes such as thickening and pigmentation.

- Once pure water passes into the filter cartridge it passes a multipolar magnetic unit that is mixed with amber and rhinestone crystals for structured H302 live water with perfect balanced pH.
- Impurities accumulate at the bottom of the flask. Flushing of the filter can be done manually or with an electric auto flushing device.
